During this appointment, Dr. Witherspoon will review your medical, psychiatric, and social history while discussing any symptoms, concerns, or challenges that may be affecting your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and daily functioning.

This evaluation allows Dr. Witherspoon to develop an accurate diagnosis and create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. Appointments typically last 45 to 60 minutes, providing ample time to discuss your concerns and answer any questions you may have.

Medication Management Follow-Up

Medication management follow-up appointments are designed to monitor your progress, evaluate the effectiveness of your treatment plan, and address any changes in your symptoms or mental health concerns. During these visits, Dr. Witherspoon will review your current medications, discuss any side effects or concerns, and make medication adjustments as clinically appropriate.

Follow-up appointments typically last 20 to 30 minutes and focus specifically on medication management and symptom assessment.

Please note that these appointments are not psychotherapy sessions. For the best treatment outcomes, Dr. Witherspoon strongly encourages patients to participate in therapy with a psychologist, licensed professional counselor, or other qualified mental health professional. If needed, our office can provide referrals and recommendations to help connect you with appropriate therapy services.

We are committed to supporting your mental health journey and ensuring you receive comprehensive, individualized care.
